“In June 1799, Jonathan Trumbull Jr., the governor of Connecticut who had served as George Washington’s military secretary during the Revolutionary War, wrote to urge him to run for a third term as president. ‘Election of a President is near at hand,’ Trumbull wrote, ‘and I have confidence in believing, that, should your Name again be brought up . . . you will not disappoint the hopes & Desires of the Wise & Good in every State, by refusing to come forward once more to the relief & support of your injured Country.’ Trumbull continued, writing that unless Washington sought the presidency, ‘the next Election of President, I fear, will have a very illfated Issue.’” 1
George Washington’s feelings about the country’s heated political climate was a pressing reason for not running for a third term as president. "The line between Parties," Washington wrote Trumbull, had become "so clearly drawn" that politicians would "regard neither truth nor decency; attacking every character, without respect to persons – Public or Private, – who happen to differ from themselves in Politics." Washington wrote that, even if he were willing to run for president again, as a Federalist, "I am thoroughly convinced I should not draw a single vote from the Anti-federal side." For Washington, the nation’s political parties had soured discourse and created a climate in which, as he predicted in his 1796 farewell address, "unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government." Referring to the Democratic-Republicans, Washington wrote, "Let that party set up a broomstick, and call it a true son of Liberty, a Democrat, or give it any other epithet that will suit their purpose, and it will command their votes in total!" 2
“Unprincipled men enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government.” What a statement from the founding father who led the United States against a superpower at the time; the British Empire. The so called president we have now dismantling the country is a prime example of our government wrecked and undermined by arrogance and soullessness.
He brings in illegal immigrants destroying the foundational structures of our major cities on purpose, and no one seems to care. He uses the Department of Justice has his own Gestapo squad against political opponents mainly former president Donald Trump and his staff. He has overthrown the checks and balance system through ruling by executive order and through administrative agencies. He has destroyed the fossil fuel production of the United States by these means. Having your own energy supply is basic to the structure and national security of a nation. What kind of leader causes his own nation to flounder in need of oil? His puppeteers force their domestic policy of Green Energy upon the citizens when most people just want oil and natural gas. His regulations aggravate people daily. Everyday he has some new policy that screws citizens.
He has planned and implemented the downfall of cities and towns across the nation by allowing outright crime with no consequence. He is a traitor. He has destabilized our foreign policy in the face of threats from China, North Korea, Iran, and Russia. He has done nothing for American citizens except made life horrible in the United States: Gas prices, food prices, general inflation, regulation after regulation on fossil fueled items etc….
The Constitution must be revamped to alleviate this damage by one whoreson. Biden. The whole family are crooks and traitors. This cannot be allowed in the future of the presidency. Political Parties must be broken up. The Democrats want to intentionally damage the United States for the spite of revenge against Trump and any white man who stands up for himself.
The Democratic Party has turned Marxist. It has to be destroyed. Its deeply embedded philosophy of evil has widened over the United States. Its agenda of Gay indoctrination on children and its possible destruction of our historical heritage through the 1619 Project are two of the most heinous of their platform. Freedom of Speech and Religion are under attack by their henchmen.
The words of George Washington need to echo down the corridors of history in order to set the republic straight. His vision for the country was mature and patriotic. He saw the country first and then himself. Biden is no better than a junior high bully who seeks revenge on Donald Trump at the expense of the needs of American citizens.

Here are some key points regarding George Washington's beliefs about political parties:
Dangers of factionalism: Washington believed that political parties, or what he referred to as "factions," could be divisive and harmful to the unity of the young nation. He argued that excessive party spirit could lead to discord, bitterness, and even violence among the American people. Discord and bitterness have existed in the era of Trump and the Democrats have orchestrated it all.
Threat to the Constitution: Washington was concerned that political parties might prioritize their own interests over the well-being of the nation and the principles of the Constitution. He worried that partisan disputes could weaken the federal government's ability to function effectively. This has happened under Biden. His Democrat puppeteers run the government
Foreign influence: Washington cautioned against the influence of foreign powers on American political parties. He believed that parties could be susceptible to manipulation by foreign governments, which might seek to advance their own agendas within the United States. Biden has been manipulated by numerous countries.
Maintenance of national unity: Washington stressed the importance of maintaining national unity and urged Americans to prioritize their common interests and identity as Americans over their political party affiliations. He believed that excessive partisanship could undermine the sense of national unity and purpose. Biden does not care about national unity or any purpose for the United States.
The role of virtuous leaders: Washington called for leaders of virtue and wisdom who would rise above partisan politics and work for the greater good of the country. He believed that such leaders were essential to preserving the young republic. Biden is a betrayer, turncoat, Judas, apostate, quisling, miscreant, and deserter. Biden doesn’t know what virtue is.
In conclusion, here are some thoughts from our first president in his farewell address:
“The unity of Government, which constitutes you one people, is also now dear to you. It is justly so; for it is a main pillar in the edifice of your real independence, the support of your tranquillity at home, your peace abroad; of your safety; of your prosperity; of that very Liberty, which you so highly prize. But as it is easy to foresee, that, from different causes and from different quarters, much pains will be taken, many artifices employed, to weaken in your minds the conviction of this truth; as this is the point in your political fortress against which the batteries of internal and external enemies will be most constantly and actively (though often covertly and insidiously) directed, it is of infinite moment, that you should properly estimate the immense value of your national Union to your collective and individual happiness; that you should cherish a cordial, habitual, and immovable attachment to it; accustoming yourselves to think and speak of it as of the Palladium of your political safety and prosperity; watching for its preservation with jealous anxiety; discountenancing whatever may suggest even a suspicion, that it can in any event be abandoned; and indignantly frowning upon the first dawning of every attempt to alienate any portion of our country from the rest, or to enfeeble the sacred ties which now link together the various parts.
“Of all the dispositions and habits, which lead to political prosperity, Religion and Morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of Patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of Men and Citizens. The mere Politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them. A volume could not trace all their connexions with private and public felicity. Let it simply be asked, Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths, which are the instruments of investigation in Courts of Justice? And let us with caution indulge the supposition, that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect, that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.

Excellent post. I recall a lot of Washington's Farewell Address and particularly remember his ad version to parties and we are all from different parts of the country but we are ALL Americans! It would be interesting to see the talking head reaction that instead if a third party, get rid of parties all together and just be Americans again. Absolutely the Marxist need to be dealt with.
