“The Mexicans realized that by getting involved with synthetic drugs, it was going to be a much more profitable endeavor, and it was going to be easier for them to get it out on the streets. They didn’t have to worry about having all these people employed, having the right weather, growing the poppies, converting, getting the opium. They started getting these ideas about fentanyl because they saw the addicted population in America, and they’re looking at it from a business standpoint.” Derek Maltz, who used to run the Drug Enforcement Administration’s special operations division stated this in an interview piece written by Tom Howell Jr. of the Washington Times.
It boggles the human mind to know that the Mexican cartels, especially the Sinaloa and Jalisco Cartels, coupled with synthetic materials imported from China to Mexico, continue to reap mega profits from United States citizens while the Biden Puppet Show administration does nothing to stop the madness. People realize that it is not the fault of just government inaction for the drug problems in the country. It has a long embedded history. However, Biden continues to worsen the epidemic.
The settlers at Jamestown Virginia grew the Marijuana plant for its hemp used in the production of rope and clothing at the time. Many farmers grew the hempseed for the money it brought in through its production uses. From 1850 to 1937, Marijuana uses included medicinal applications for pain and for mood problems in place of alcohol which increased in price in the 1920’s. Eventually, Mexicans coming here for work brought it over the border, and its recreational use spread among US citizens. As early as 1872, hasheesh has it was commonly called, extended more to recreational use than therapeutic use by doctors. Cannabis became popular through the media, especially newspapers and magazines which spread the information concerning how users got high on the drug. State governments have legalized marijuana use in the United States today.
Morphine was another opiate derivative made in the 1800’s. It was thought to be a cure-all drug for many different ailments. Many doctors thought that morphine did not addict patients treated with the drug. During the Civil War 1861 to 1865, thousands of Union and Confederate soldiers were given morphine for pain from gunshot wounds and cannon shrapnel wounds. As morphine was available to the medical staff at battle location hospitals, more and more soldiers also became addicted to the drug. Addiction was a hallmark of morphine and it was even labeled as “The Soldier’s Disease” after the horrible conflict ended.
Also in the 19th Century, cocaine was developed and used for therapeutic purposes. Dr. William Halsted, a surgeon, used cocaine as a general anesthesia in various surgical procedures. He also utilized the cocaine for an antidote for his own morphine addiction. “Dr. Halsted was not the only significant figure of the 19th century to believe that cocaine cured morphine addiction. Sigmund Freud, a notable neurologist, was also a proponent of its addiction-curing powers.”
“Possibly the most common reference to cocaine in American history is in regards to Coca-Cola. In 1885, John Styth Pemberton, the man behind such patent medicines as Triplex Liver Pills and Globe of Flower Cough Syrup, announced ‘French Wine Coca–Ideal Nerve and Tonic Stimulant.’ This product relied heavily on extract of highly addictive coca leaves. The following year Pemberton presented a syrup to the world called ‘Coca-Cola.’” In 1906, after the federal Pure Food and Drug Act was enacted, Coca-Cola switched from using unadulterated coca leaves to de-cocainized leaves.”
“The last legal opiate” heroin, manufactured on a large scale in 1898 by the Bayer Pharmaceutical Company, has brought mass destruction to the Republic of the United States. Thought less addictive than morphine at the end of the 19th Century, scientific and medical associations used heroin as a substitute for morphine. This thought turned out to become a major disaster for citizens of this country.
It took individual state legislatures to pass laws in order to remove the Bayer product, heroin, from store shelves. The US government outlawed heroin in 1925. However, heroin of the late 1800’s does not compare with the heroin today, mostly imported by the open border policies of Biden and chemical materials from China. “Heroin found on the streets today is in the form of a white or brownish powder, or a black sticky substance known as ‘black tar’ heroin. It is usually mixed with other drugs or substances such as sugar, starch, powdered milk, talc, baking soda, caffeine, cocaine, or quinine, though there is some indication that pure forms of heroin are becoming available.”
There is the moral idea of personal responsibility when it comes to drug addiction. Peter Olsson MD writing in American Thinker asks, “What is character? How does it relate to personality and personality disorder? ‘Good’ character is important in an ordinary individual, a political representative, and especially in a president or leader. Disorders of character are both chickens and eggs. Personality and character disorders provide a ready soil for the growth of criminality, irresponsible sex, defective parenting, unhappy marriages, and drug abuse. Too many Americans find Hollywood ‘stars’ infidelities and flagrant drug abuse exciting entertainment. And, vice versa, drug abuse provides a milieu for the above personality problems. Many Americans find themselves with an array of serious character disorders. They play a causal role in the current drug abuse epidemic.”
The United States experienced two major heroin epidemics. The time periods after World War II and the late 1960’s saw a definite increase in the recreational use of heroin. Many former soldiers developed addictions because of wounds from combat in various battles against the Germans and Japanese. In the Vietnam War, heroin stood as a drug of choice for many soldiers. Many men drafted into the war were between 18 and 21 years old, too young to drink, so many turned to drug use.
With the border wide open right now in March of 2023, it is a total business enterprise thanks to Biden, Mayorkas, and Harris, the triumvirate leadership running the drug dealership, killing American citizens and thus desecrating the ideals of a republican form of government.
The fentanyl produced in Mexico through the help of Chinese synthetic materials is roughly 100 times more potent than morphine and 50 times potent than heroin. Fentanyl produces a high in addicts easily resulting in lower cost on the streets. This cheap and deadly additive to opioids is very dangerous. Many people don’t realize the fentanyl is mixed in or cut with opioid pills. It is not a usual practice for the seller or dealer to cause their customers to die using their products, but it is now occurring more and more among hardened addicts and casual users. “Cigarettes were highly profitable in the 20th century despite evidence that they would kill a substantial share of people who used them regularly,” said Keith Humphreys, a Stanford University professor who tracks the opioid crisis.
“You can kill lots of customers and still make money with more addictive products because they are better [than] other products at attracting and holding customers, allowing wealth to be extracted from them up until their death,” Humphreys said. He also pointed to a “hypothetical example of a dealer who sells cocaine mixed with fentanyl versus cocaine alone. Someone with a cocaine problem might buy the drug several times a week, he said, but someone with a fentanyl problem is likely to purchase it more than once a day. Even if a dealer is increasing the odds that a customer will be dead within five years, you will still make more money as a dealer of fentanyl-laced cocaine over those five years than you would selling them unadulterated cocaine for the rest of their life,” Mr. Humphreys said.
New users can replace the dead ones. The medical characteristic called tolerance pushes surviving fentanyl users to purchase more of the product, consequently, bringing in loads of profits for the dealers and the cartels. “Some experts say dealers will intentionally put a lethal amount of fentanyl into their drug supply because the deaths advertise the potency of the dealer’s wares. Fentanyl is also easier to smuggle than other drugs, given that a small bag of it can drive the same profits as a large brick of another drug.” Keith Humphreys
Drug importation, dealing, and use have gone on for years in the United States. However, it is unheard of for the executive branch of government to blatantly allow cartels to operate inside their own southern border. Then on top of that Jean Pierre Karine stands in front of the press pool and purposely lies to them saying that “the border is secure and fentanyl smuggling is actually down.” This is unbelievable!
What kind of so called leader intentionally destroys their own country? Why would leaders do this? Why is this happening in the once great United States under the Biden administration? Why are a majority of middle class people just sitting around doing nothing to protest this traitorous government?
Could it simply be results of the George Floyd killing? Could it be Trump hatred?
Vote, protest, write, speak, assemble, pray.
